The Series I Land Rover was introduced in 1948 for farming and light industrial use. There were three different body styles and three different engine types. This Rover is powered by a 2.0L inline 4 petrol engine paired with a 4-speed manual transmission. This Series I starts easily, and drives well on and off road.
New tires were recently installed, including the spare located on the hood. The original wheels were restored and repainted.
All seats and upholstery are original to this Rover. New rubber floor mats were installed in the front and cargo compartments.
New components include the carburetor, starter, wiring harness and electrical components. The driveshafts, transfer case and rear differential were fully rebuilt, and the clutch was replaced.
