Though typically powered by a 2.25L inline 4 engine, this Series III Land Rover was retrofitted with a 3.5L V8 petrol engine and 4-speed manual transmission from a Series III Land Rover. The body was fully restored and repainted in a flat green finish. The Rover starts and runs well, ready to take you through the jungles of South America or down to your local grocery store.
New Mickey Thompson Baja MTZ tires were recently installed, including the spare located on the hood. All original wheels were restored and repainted.
All seats were re-upholstered with new leather. This includes the front bench style seats and the rear cargo jump seats. New rubber floor mats were also installed in the front floor board and the rear cargo area.
New components include the carburetor, starter, wiring harness and electrical components. The driveshafts, transfer case and rear differential were fully rebuilt, and the clutch was replaced.
